Within biotechnology, the firm deals with many of the top ranking companies in the world and its pharmaceutical clients also include world leading corporations. As a consequence of this ever increasing growth in work the firm is recruiting to a number of positions. These are entirely new positions, not replacing previous incumbents, and given the rate of expansion of the department, the potential career progression for candidates is excellent.

Ultimately the firm need qualified attorneys who enjoy liaising with clients and offering strategic advice, and who can also advocate and develop global IP programmes. A typical portfolio of work for Attorneys with Mathys & Squire includes significant opposition work (including attending oral proceedings in Munich); exposure to litigation cases; strategic due diligence; and high value prosecution work.
