Patent Attorneys, Norway and Sweden – Electronics/Mechanical/Physics

We are currently recruiting internationally for firms in Sweden and Norway. In both cases the firms work in English and would be open to candidates both from the EU and non-EU. Candidates who are within the EPC contracting states will be part, nearly or newly qualified European Patent Attorneys. Candidates outside of the EPC will be qualified in their own jurisdiction and be comfortable with
going through the process of cross-qualification. Appropriate visas can be arranged by both firms. In terms of workload, the client mix is relatively similar. Both require someone who is comfortable with an electrical engineering/mechanical engineering background or perhaps physics. However, other technical backgrounds may be considered on a case by case. The Scandinavian IP market has been rapidly growing over the last few years and there are substantial opportunities for international candidates. Salaries are similar to the rest of Europe, with an excellent work/life balance. The client mix of both firms is both direct and agency which allows for a great range of potential work from drafting to EP oppositions.
