A boutique IP law firm is celebrating their ongoing success by welcoming an additional team member to join their friendly tech practice.
There’s near enough an equal split between corporate and smaller clients, with your time shared between drafting and prosecution mostly across the physics, electronics & computing, and engineering fields. You will work closely with anything from individual inventors up to multinational corporations, with SMEs and universities in between – tailoring your advice and strategy to suit each unique need. The oppositions practice is small but with plenty of room to grow, and anyone with experience will be given full rein to potentially develop it further.
The international work is focused mainly in the US, China and Japan allowing scope for overseas travel, both for client visits and networking opportunities.
Ideally you will have a strong background in software and high-tech subject matter, and have a little curiosity with regards to wider mechanical and related disciplines. You will be confident in handling your own portfolio and growing it further, so with this in mind it is assumed you will have around a couple of years’ PQE.
The role is envisaged as being full time, however part time applicants will also be considered. They have a number of offices across the UK and many of the team work from home, so location should not be an issue.
