Work with start-up businesses offering support, strategy and consultancy, nurturing their IP assets to help them become future international powerhouses. Supplement this work with a variety of global clients with large IP portfolios. Given the mix of clients, what you will be doing will be really varied – complex prosecution, drafting, due diligence and commercial contracts.
The technical mix is varied, with a focus on medical devices and automotive. Therefore, the ideal candidates will have an engineering or physics background, as well as the willingness to work outside of their comfort zone when the job requires it. Candidates should be fully or nearly qualified UK and/or European patent attorneys.
