Novagraaf’s philosophy is to deliver an integrated global IP management solution. The firm provides both an efficient delivery of formality services as well as top quality value-added consultancy services. Novagraaf has two European lines of business; patents and trade marks, each with its own business model.
What is now Novagraaf Group celebrated its centenary in 1988, founded as van der Graaf & Co’s Merkenbureau NV in the Netherlands in 1888. After extending its reach beyond the Netherlands, the company changed its name to Markgraaf in its centenary year. In August 2000, the Markgraaf and Novamark groups – both well-known international companies in the field of Intellectual Property – merged under the new name Novagraaf. More recent acquisitions have included the French company Cabinet Ballot in 2002 and QED Intellectual Property and Hillgate Patent Services (of the UK) in 2008.
What are Novagraaf’s recruitment requirements?
Novagraaf in the UK is a strategically important part of the firm’s plans for further growth. The Group wishes to inject new leadership into the UK operation by hiring two Directors. One will lead the patent business and the other will focus on trade marks. Both positions will report directly to the overall management board of the firm and will be given the autonomy to implement new ideas and business strategies to further develop Novagraaf’s impact on and offering to the UK market.
Fellows and Associates are seeking Attorneys for Novagraaf who have shown a considerable track record of inspiring leadership and commercial success but are also able to develop new ideas and put into practice business methods to ensure that Novagraaf is as successful in the UK as it is in other jurisdictions.
For both roles candidates must ideally have international experience and time served in both private practice and industry. These are Partner level hires so would suit high ranking Attorneys in a commercial environment or existing Partners or Senior Associates desiring Partnership in private practices.
To apply for either role, please contact Fellows and Associates Managing Director, Pete Fellows, on +44 20 7903 5019.
