Build further experience in EP oppositions working with a Partner who is highly commercially orientated with an extensive contentious workload. Develop skills within IP consultancy such as licensing and litigation strategies as well as new product launches. There is also the possibility that you work with Supplementary Protection Certificates.
The client base is primary pharmaceutical in nature, particularly small molecule chemistry. The work is overwhelmingly at the EPO.
Ideal candidates will be European Qualified Patent Attorneys with a technical background in chemistry. UK (or other jurisdictional) qualification is not required. The firm will consider sponsorship for candidates outside the UK who are European Qualified. Ideally candidates will be speak English and one other European language (which one is very flexible, for example, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Polish will all be highly regarded as will other European languages).
