Part Qualified - up to 2 Years’ PQE, Life Sciences, London
Do you feel you’re lacking the support needed to progress your career? Perhaps you’ve found your footing but don’t have the freedom to really push your potential? This firm can offer you both. They encourage autonomous working and champion attorneys that use their own initiative, but with the support structure and open-door policy in place to be used if needed.
The team works across a variety of sectors including cancer immunotherapy, microbiome therapeutics, gene therapy, therapeutic nucleotides and peptides, personalised medicine using AI and machine learning, antibody discovery and diagnostics, and the use of biotechnology and microbiology in the agriculture, food and cosmetics sector.
You will gain experience in all aspects of being a patent attorney, with as much or as little guidance as needed for you to develop your career. In addition to what is normally expected, you will be exposed to contentious proceedings at the EPO and work closely with clients from early on advising on highly valuable and commercially strategic IP projects. Ideally you will have begun your training as a patent attorney and be part qualified, although those with a little more experience (up to 2 years’ PQE) will also be considered.
