Recently Qualified Patent Attorney, Biotechnology, South
Salary: Excellent
Job Description
A firm with a fantastic pedigree in biotechnology is in need of an additional fee earner to help manage their growing workload. The team represents SMEs, blue chip companies and academic institutions before the UKIPO and EPO. There’s a well-established oppositions practice with many of the team having extensive experience in EPO oppositions and appeals, as well as handling litigious matters in the UK, Europe, South Africa, USA and Asia.
You’ll have a portfolio waiting for you but there’s also the opportunity to build your practice further to reflect your own strengths and interests. The firm offers their associates plenty of freedom to explore new technologies through cross discipline teams and also encourages involvement in other areas of the business, such as marketing, business development and office management.
Ideal candidates will have recently qualified with a background in biotechnology, biochemistry, immunology, or similar. Those with a little more or a little less experience will also be considered. Office locations include London and the South coast, with the option of home working around two days a week. The firm is also open to discussions if you require another working solution.
