Join a private practice with a well-balanced mix of a diverse and interesting group of local clients plus wide-ranging and dynamic international corporations. Build relationships with SMEs and universities and help develop and organise their IP strategies. This includes IP capture and then drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications both within the UK and Europe as well as coordinating a network of associate attorneys internationally. The firm really likes commercial people, in other words attorneys who like to work closely with their clients and help develop an effective methodology for working through IP issues.
The practice has grown rapidly in the region and it is certainly an excellent time to be part of that growth with unbound career potential. They have a great deal of existing work but you will be given the opportunity to aid with the acquisition of new clients as well as managing a portfolio of your own. The firm also has a world-class support infrastructure and you will benefit from a highly collaborative culture and backing from both Partners and an experienced paralegal team.
Ideal candidates will be European qualified with a technical background in physics, electronics or a related field. The role has flexibility in relation to seniority so qualified candidates at any level of post qualified experience may be applicable.
