This patent and trade mark firm is looking to grow their London based chemistry practice with the addition of a part qualified or finalist level patent attorney.
They are consistently noted for the exceptional support and advocacy they provide their clients internationally, who range from multinational corporations to leading universities and innovative SMEs. You will have the chance to work across a number of stimulating industries including chemical synthesis, soluble polymers, household fragrance products, cleantech, therapeutic skin treatments and industrial horticultural products.
You will be welcomed into a friendly and supportive team, including some of the industry’s most respected experts with a diverse and interesting collective knowledge base. Alongside carrying out the broad spectrum of patenting duties, you will also be responsible for advising clients on their wider IP strategy including the maximisation of the commercial potential of their IP. You will therefore need to be commercially astute with excellent communication and relationship building skills, as well as a client oriented outlook.
The environment on offer is a non-hierarchical one in which your ideas will be respected and considered, irrespective of your position on the ladder. Throughout your qualifying examinations and beyond, you will benefit from the guidance of experienced Partners with high value contact bases, as well as an excellent professional administrative and paralegal support team.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a firm who place a great deal of importance on the provision of personalised training and ongoing development, as well as ample opportunities for progression. In turn for your hard work, you will be rewarded with a clear path to Partnership as well as access to a competitive and wholly achievable bonus scheme. The firm are keen to hear from part qualified and finalist level candidates, although those who have completed the Queen Mary through to UK or European recently qualified (but not dual) will be considered.
