Your portfolio will include direct clients based both in the UK and overseas, and will consist mainly of start-ups and SMEs – allowing you to work as closely as you like to the inventors and become an integral part of their IP plans. A lot of your work will be face-to-face, meaning solid interpersonal and communication skills are essential, and will involve you will regularly meeting with clients and suggesting key strategies and plans that will shape their future policies.
A keen commercial eye is beneficial and a thirst for business development will well and truly be welcomed. There are strong ties with local businesses in the area, meaning networking will be offered both at home and at larger events across the world.
Ideal candidates will have recently qualified, however those with 2 years’ experience in the profession overall up to 2 years’ PQE will be considered. An academic background in electronics, physics, computing, mathematics or a related discipline will be required.
The firm will consider remote/flexible working, so if you’re not based in Oxford, don’t fancy travelling to the office every day, or prefer to work from a variety of locations – this opportunity could be one for you.
