A leading international law firm is looking to hire a qualified trade mark attorney on a four month temporary basis. The firm is one of the largest in the world, resulting in the successful candidate having access to a highly diverse client base and work spanning multiple jurisdictions.
You will be responsible for handling all elements of trade mark work including the filing and prosecution of UK, EU, WIPO and overseas national trade mark applications, and also registered design applications; trade mark searches; providing advice and responding to objections; proposing and negotiating settlement agreements; drafting and advising on license agreements; preparing cease and desist letters; handling opposition, revocation and invalidity proceedings; and business development activities such as presentations to potential clients and writing articles.
This is a rare opportunity for a UK qualified trade mark attorney who may be currently working as a sole trader, a freelancer covering overflow work, or perhaps someone with up to date experience but currently not in practice looking to reignite their career.
